Columbus Federation of Settlements Privacy Policy:
This document describes the policy of the Columbus Federation of
Settlements Inc. (CFS) regarding information received about you during
visits to our web site. We respect the privacy concerns of visitors to
our site and accordingly, no personal information is automatically
obtained by visiting the site. However, CFS may obtain certain
non-personal information from on-line visitors, such as the total
number of visitors to the site in the aggregate and the name of
Internet servers (but not e-mail addresses).
There may be occasions when CFS obtains personally identifiable
information (PII), such as when a visitor requests our e-newsletter or
information about volunteer opportunities at CFS or a member Settlement
House. However, CFS only gathers PII such as names, addresses, e-mail
addresses, etc., when a visitor voluntarily submits that information.
Once a visitor provides CFS with PII, the data is used solely by CFS
and is not sold, transferred or otherwise disseminated to third parties
outside of CFS without their express permission.
Visitors who provide CFS with their e-mail address and register an
interest in receiving follow-up information or an e-newsletter may be
notified from time to time about CFS news, needs or services. At all
times, “opt-out” instructions will be provided with the e-mail.
CFS reserves the right to update and change this policy at any time.
